Potterville, West Springfield Massachusetts
Summer Vacation Fun
The Activities
The Important Stuff

Making a mask, sculpting a favorite animal, coiling a cup from clay are just some of the activities kids will be doing this summer at Potterville Pottery in West Springfield.

Kids will have fun with our age-appropriate activities, while they learn a variety of techniques for turning clay into art. The techniques include: coiling, pinching, slab, and pottery wheel. Kids will have a chance to work on the pottery wheel daily in order to build some skill in the art of throwing a pot.

Kids will also have a chance to work with other media, as well. Tie-dying, origami and jewelry-making are some of the projects we are currently exploring as options to include in our summer-camp fun.
